Our classes include:  

* Instructor fees 

* Pool & springs entry fees for water training

* Digital Academic materials for class  

* C-card fee 

* BCD, Reg/Gauge Combo, 5mm Wetsuit, Tanks 

* Digital SSI Logbook via DiveSSI application 

* FUN

Exclusions:  Snorkel, Mask, Fins, booties if needed, weight belt and weights.

Purchase your Snorkel, Mask, Fins and Booties from Castaway SCUBA and you will receive a $25 gift card that most use towards the weight belt and weights.  This cannot be used towards the course. 

A Medical Statement must be reviewed prior to the start of your Open Water Course. Please ask representative for a copy of this Statement.

After purchasing your Open Water course from Castaway SCUBA, you will be set up in the SSI system to allow for access to all chapters of the online Academic pre-reading. All pre-reading must be completed before your first-Class session.  If you wish to begin your Academic pre-reading online prior to making payment, you will receive the first 3 chapters on www.divessi.com. Choose Login, set up your new account: It will ask you for your email address, log in with Email and password that you are assigned.  Choose the option for Training, in the drop down choose the courses link, then begin reading the Open Water Diver course materials.  Once the Deposit ($100) is made directly to Castaway SCUBA, we can assign the final 3 chapters. Sign in and choose the Open Water Course with 6 chapters, read and answer all chapter questions. Contact Castaway SCUBA to schedule your class session.  Final payment will be due the first day of class.   

Swim Test:

There is a 200 yd not timed swim and a 10-minute tread water that must be completed. You do not need to be a strong swimmer but you must be able to swim.

Not Included:

Rental BCD, Reg/Gauge combo and wetsuit not included in any Specialty Course but available for rental.

Specific Specialties may require entrance fees extra.
